Refund Policy

We want every artist who works with Kinetix to feel good about the result. Here is exactly how refunds work.

1. Before work begins

If you have paid the invoice but we have not started production, you can cancel for any reason within 24 hours of payment for a full refund. Email hello@kinetix.video with your project name to request the refund.

2. After work begins

Once production has started, the project becomes non-refundable because compute and time costs are incurred immediately. If you cancel a project mid-production, the work-in-progress assets remain Kinetix property and are not delivered.

3. After delivery

Once your final video is delivered, the project is non-refundable. However, every project includes one round of revisions. If something is off, send revision notes within 7 days of delivery and we will work it through with you.

4. If you are still unhappy after revisions

If after the included revision round the result still does not meet what we agreed to in the brief, email us and we will make it right — with additional revisions, a partial refund, or a full refund — on a case-by-case basis. Your satisfaction matters more than any single transaction.

5. Refunds we cannot offer

Refunds are not available for:

  • Issues caused by missing, low-quality, or off-spec assets you submitted (poorly lit reference photo, low-bitrate song export, etc.) where we delivered to the brief as written
  • A change in your release plans, your distributor decisions, or your label situation after a video has been produced
  • Performance of the video on third-party platforms (views, retention, monetization)

6. How refunds are paid

Approved refunds are issued to the original Stripe payment method within 5 business days. Stripe may take an additional 3-10 business days to post the refund back to your account depending on your bank.

7. Disputes

Before opening a chargeback or dispute with your card issuer, please email hello@kinetix.video. We are an indie operation and will work with you to resolve any concern directly and quickly.
